„Liberals are driven by Satan and lie constantly.“

— Ann Coulter
Context: So for those of you who haven't read any of my five best-selling books: Liberals are driven by Satan and lie constantly. [http://townhall.com/columnists/anncoulter/2007/06/28/that_was_no_lady_--_that_was_my_husband/page/full/ "That was no lady — That was my husband" (28 June 2007)].

„I’ve never seen people enjoying their husbands’ deaths so much.“

— Ann Coulter
Context: These self-obsessed women seemed genuinely unaware that 9/11 was an attack on our nation and acted as if the terrorist attacks happened only to them. The whole nation was wounded, all our lives reduced. But they believed the entire country was required to marinate in their exquisite personal agony. Apparently denouncing Bush was an important part of their closure process. These broads are millionaires, lionized on TV and in articles about them, reveling in their status as celebrities and stalked by grief-arazzis. I’ve never seen people enjoying their husbands’ deaths so much. Speculation on motives and desires of politically active widows which caused public controversy, p. 103, quoted in [http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/13186261/ "Coulter lambastes 9/11 widows in new book" at MSNBC (7 June 2006)].

„We know who the homicidal maniacs are. They are the ones cheering and dancing right now.
We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity.“

— Ann Coulter
Context: Airports scrupulously apply the same laughably ineffective airport harassment to Suzy Chapstick as to Muslim hijackers. It is preposterous to assume every passenger is a potential crazed homicidal maniac. We know who the homicidal maniacs are. They are the ones cheering and dancing right now. We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity. We weren't punctilious about locating and punishing only Hitler and his top officers. We carpet-bombed German cities; we killed civilians. That's war. And this is war.

„I think the government should be spying on all Arabs, engaging in torture as a televised spectator sport, dropping daisy cutters wantonly throughout the Middle East and sending liberals to Guantanamo.“

— Ann Coulter
Context: I think the government should be spying on all Arabs, engaging in torture as a televised spectator sport, dropping daisy cutters wantonly throughout the Middle East and sending liberals to Guantanamo. But if we must engage in a national debate on half-measures: After 9-11, any president who was not spying on people calling phone numbers associated with terrorists should be impeached for being an inept commander in chief. With a huge gaping hole in lower Manhattan, I'm not sure why we have to keep reminding people, but we are at war. (Perhaps it's because of the media blackout on images of the 9-11 attack. We're not allowed to see those because seeing planes plowing into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon might make us feel angry and jingoistic.) Among the things that war entails are: killing people (sometimes innocent), destroying buildings (sometimes innocent) and spying on people (sometimes innocent). That is why war is a bad thing. But once a war starts, it is going to be finished one way or another, and I have a preference for it coming out one way rather than the other.

„We just want Jews to be perfected, as they say. … That's what Christianity is.“

— Ann Coulter
Context: We just want Jews to be perfected, as they say. … That's what Christianity is. We believe the Old Testament, but ours is more like Federal Express. You have to obey laws.... That is what Christians consider themselves: perfected Jews. We believe the Old Testament. As you know from the Old Testament, God was constantly getting fed up with humans for not being able to live up to all the laws. What Christians believe — this is just a statement of what the New Testament is — is that that's why Christ came and died for our sins. Christians believe the Old Testament. You don't believe our testament. Statement on Donny Deutsch's CNBC show "The Big Idea" (8 October 2007), as quoted in [http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/10/12/national/main3361954.shtml "Jewish Groups Condemn, Boycott Ann Coulter" at CBS News (12 October 2007)].

„I say let's do it. Let's repress them. … Frankly, I'm not a big fan of the First Amendment.“

— Ann Coulter
Context: The Democrats complain about the Republican base being nuts … The nuts are their entire party … They're always accusing us of repressing their speech. I say let's do it. Let's repress them. … Frankly, I'm not a big fan of the First Amendment. Comments at the University of Florida (21 October 2005), as quoted in [http://www.alligator.org/pt2/051021coulter.php "Coulter courts Gainesville" by Jessica Riffel, in The Alligator (21 October 2005)].

„At this, even Hillary Clinton was thinking, "Come on, guys — let's grow a pair."“

— Ann Coulter
Context: The not-visibly-insane Democrats all claim they'll get rough with the terrorists, but they can't even face Brit Hume. In case you missed this profile in Democrat machismo, the Democratic presidential candidates are refusing to participate in a debate hosted by Fox News Channel because the hosts are "biased." But they'll face down Mahmoud Ahmadinejad! At this, even Hillary Clinton was thinking, "Come on, guys — let's grow a pair." [http://townhall.com/columnists/anncoulter/2007/05/03/no_wonder_theyre_afraid_of_brit_hume/page/full/ "No Wonder They're Afraid of Brit Hume" (3 May 2007)].

„The ethic of conservation is the explicit abnegation of man's dominion over the Earth.“

— Ann Coulter
Context: The ethic of conservation is the explicit abnegation of man's dominion over the Earth. The lower species are here for our use. God said so: Go forth, be fruitful, multiply, and rape the planet — it's yours. That's our job: drilling, mining and stripping. Sweaters are the anti-Biblical view. Big gas-guzzling cars with phones and CD players and wet bars — that's the Biblical view.

„Not all Muslims may be terrorists, but all terrorists are Muslims — at least all terrorists capable of assembling a murderous plot against America that leaves 7,000 people dead in under two hours.“

— Ann Coulter
Context: Not all Muslims may be terrorists, but all terrorists are Muslims — at least all terrorists capable of assembling a murderous plot against America that leaves 7,000 people dead in under two hours. How are we to distinguish the peaceful Muslims from the fanatical, homicidal Muslims about to murder thousands of our fellow citizens? "Future widows of America: Write your congressman" in Jewish World Review (28 September 2001).

„I just can't imagine anyone not seeing 9/11 as a really good reason for wiping out Islamic totalitarians.“

— Ann Coulter
Context: I was not enthusiastic about the last Gulf war. Of course, it goes without saying, I rooted for our team once the shooting started. But I wasn't for that war. I was also against sending Americans to the Balkans. My point is, I'm genuinely against America deploying troops without a really, really good reason. I just can't imagine anyone not seeing 9/11 as a really good reason for wiping out Islamic totalitarians. As quoted in [http://www.guardian.co.uk/weekend/story/0,3605,956452,00.html "An appalling magic" in The Guardian (17 May 2003)].

„God said, "Earth is yours. Take it. Rape it. It's yours."“

— Ann Coulter
Context: God gave us the earth. We have dominion over the plants, the animals, the trees. God said, "Earth is yours. Take it. Rape it. It's yours." Making references to Dominionism and [http://www.mechon-mamre.org/p/pt/pt0101.htm#28 Genesis 1:28], on Hannity & Colmes (20 June 2001).

„I mean, this is lesson, you know, number 1,000,047 on why women shouldn't be in the military. In addition to not being able to carry even a medium-sized backpack, women are too vicious.“

— Ann Coulter
Context: I think the other point that no one is making about the abuse photos is just the disproportionate number of women involved, including a girl general running the entire operation. I mean, this is lesson, you know, number 1,000,047 on why women shouldn't be in the military. In addition to not being able to carry even a medium-sized backpack, women are too vicious. Hannity & Colmes (5 May 2004).

„Eliminating standardized tests allows the cognitive elite to manipulate the soft stuff in ways the less-often-washed cannot. Mount Holyoke has accomplished nothing more than replacing a tyranny of merit with a tyranny of privilege.“

— Ann Coulter
Context: It is true that some percentage of bright people really do not test well, but most of the time the only thing about "common man's intelligence" that is indubitably true is that it is common. The concept of some ephemeral, elusive nonverbal intelligence simply allows one to impute intelligence to anyone who strikes your fancy. … Eliminating standardized tests allows the cognitive elite to manipulate the soft stuff in ways the less-often-washed cannot. Mount Holyoke has accomplished nothing more than replacing a tyranny of merit with a tyranny of privilege.

„If Chicago had been hit, I assure you New Yorkers would not have cared.“

— Ann Coulter
Context: If Chicago had been hit, I assure you New Yorkers would not have cared. What was stunning when New York was hit was how the rest of America rushed to New York's defense. New Yorkers would have been like, "It's tough for them; now let's go back to our Calvin Klein fashion shows." On the September 11 attacks, as quoted in "An appalling magic" in The Guardian (17 May 2003).
