Kasimir Severinovitch Malevitch , né à Kiev , le 11 février 1879 ,, de parents polonais et mort le 15 mai 1935, à Léningrad, à l'âge de 56 ans d'un cancer, est un des premiers artistes abstraits du XXe siècle.
