José Mourinho, de son nom complet José Mário dos Santos Félix Mourinho, est un entraîneur de football portugais né le 26 janvier 1963 à Setúbal.

« A Special One » comme il s'est surnommé après sa première conférence de presse en tant qu'entraîneur du Chelsea Football Club, en référence aux titres européens consécutifs obtenus avec le FC Porto. À la fois décrié par certains et adulé par d'autres, il est considéré par beaucoup comme l’un des meilleurs tacticiens de sa génération. L'entraîneur portugais est également connu pour son caractère provocateur et moqueur. Il a suivi sa formation d'entraîneur à la Faculté de motricité humaine de l'Université de Lisbonne et en est ressorti titulaire du Master Droit, Économie et Gestion du sport.

Mourinho a entraîné au Portugal, en Angleterre, en Italie et en Espagne, remportant les championnats dans ces quatre pays, et leurs coupes nationales. Il a également gagné deux Coupes de l'UEFA et deux Ligues des Champions avec le FC Porto et l'Inter Milan . Il obtient en 2011 le premier Prix d'entraîneur de l'année FIFA 2010, le Ballon d'Or des entraîneurs, devançant le sélectionneur espagnol et champion du monde Vicente del Bosque ainsi que Josep Guardiola, en récompense de son travail lors de la saison 2009-2010, qui a été ponctuée par un triplé historique avec l'Inter Milan.
